Favorite Flowers To Plant This Spring!

Flowers can provide an array of beautiful benefits to any home. From being aesthetically pleasing to the eye, to the captivating, charming floral aromas dancing around in the air. These are already great enough reasons to have your home filled with flowers, and now with the new green and holistic movements arriving full force into our communities, we can now begin to explore more of the medicinal qualities and health benefits flowers can provide us. Flower seeds are extremely inexpensive with one bag of about 20 seeds costing as little as 50 cents to a dollar. You want to take about 15 days before planting your seeds to germinate them. Most seeds you germinate by wrapping them in a damp paper towel, storing them somewhere dark (to mimic them being underground) and once the sprouts have appeared you are ready to sow your seedlings! Pre-grown flowers are also a perfect option, especially when occasional trips to the flower market can be very refreshing and enjoyable. Another hidden gem to go to shop for flowers are majestic rolling flower farm fields. Some of the most beautiful ones to go and visit are at Carlsbad Ranch, California with 50 acres of Ranunculus plants, sunflower fields at Wild Berry Farm in Sadler, Texas, endless tulip blooms in Skagit Valley Washington, Purple Haze Lavender farm in Washington, and Ennus Bluebonnet trails in Texas as well as many others! My personal favorites are always perennials because they have roots that survive through winter and come back year after year. Annuals die in the winter and have to be replanted every year. So if you want a garden that keeps coming back to life every spring I would invest mainly in perennials. Some of my favorites are Lavender, Peony, Shasta daisy, Aster, Hyacinth, Hollyhock, Delphinium and Hydrangeas among many others! Let us know your favorites in the comments! Feel free to DM us pictures of your lovely blooming gardens, we would love to see them !
