Every country has a rich history of their origins, independence, and development. After fighting many battles, and winning many wars, countries have gained their independence, developed their own unique languages, cuisine, culture, and way of life. America has one of the most captivating stories of its conception. Being a land full of potential and opportunity, it was a promising bright future for so many people that wanted more living in such an isolated small country like England, full of corruption, and a monarchy regime which allowed little from the voice of the people. That’s why the new lands of America was a shining beacon of freedom for many that longed to be heard, and have the freedom and liberty they so rightfully deserved. This led to many bloody battles, and a revolutionary war that was fought with many patriotic hearts, with a passion for truth and justice. So on July 4th 1776 America declared its freedom and independence from Great Britain, leading us to be one of the most celebrated and remarkable countries in the world. John Adams, Founding Father, and second president of the United States wrote in a letter to his wife that Independence Day was “A day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.” We now celebrate the 4th of July with dazzling, enchanting fireworks, cookouts with our friends & family and fascinating colorful parades with patriotic displays of our American flag. You can also hear our magical national anthem “The Star Spangled Banner” serenading our homes, events, and the streets, written by amateur poet and lawyer Francis Scott Key. He was inspired by the American flag flying victoriously above Fort Henry after being bombarded by the Royal Navy of Britain. One of the many victories the patriotic people of the New World fought so earnestly and bravely to proudly celebrate our freedom and liberty forever shining in a fiery blaze of glory.
