Why Are Americans So Worried About Russia Invading Ukraine?

World peace, gas prices, children in danger, what is the real reason Americans and the rest of the world are so focused on Russia invading their former Soviet Union country Ukraine. Especially President Joe Biden who is taking quite a few drastic actions against Russia. He has already placed new sanctions on Russia targeting two of their largest banks. President Biden also says Moscow can no longer raise money from the U.S. and Europe. He has imposed penalties on Russian debt, also sanctioning several Russian elites that have close ties to Putin. Vladimir Putin who was first elected president of Russia in 1999 and most recently inaugurated in May of 2018 to his 4th six-year term to be President of Russia by a popular vote has recently said that he wants the Ukrainian military to lay down its arms and for foreign countries to not interfere. He later said he wants the denazification and the demilitarization of Ukraine. Everyone still seems to be a bit confused as to why exactly Russia is invading Ukraine, and what exactly is the true story that lies behind all of the fake news media and propaganda.
